How To Uninstall cpl-plugin-amber-calib On Debian 8

To uninstall cpl-plugin-amber-calib just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just cpl-plugin-amber-calib

ESO data reduction pipeline calibration data downloader for AMBERDebian 8.0contrib/science4.3.1+dfsg-1
sudo apt-get remove cpl-plugin-amber-calib

This will remove just the cpl-plugin-amber-calib package itself.

Uninstall cpl-plugin-amber-calib and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove cpl-plugin-amber-calib

This will remove the cpl-plugin-amber-calib package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for cpl-plugin-amber-calib then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge cpl-plugin-amber-calib

Or similarly, like this cpl-plugin-amber-calib
