How To Uninstall dynare-matlab On Debian 8

To uninstall dynare-matlab just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just dynare-matlab

MATLAB support for DynareDebian 8.0contrib/math4.4.3-1
sudo apt-get remove dynare-matlab

This will remove just the dynare-matlab package itself.

Uninstall dynare-matlab and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove dynare-matlab

This will remove the dynare-matlab package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for dynare-matlab then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge dynare-matlab

Or similarly, like this dynare-matlab

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove dynare-matlab
