How To Uninstall libgooglecharts-ruby On Debian 8

To uninstall libgooglecharts-ruby just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libgooglecharts-ruby

Transitional package for ruby-googlechartsDebian 8.0contrib/oldlibs1.6.8-2
sudo apt-get remove libgooglecharts-ruby

This will remove just the libgooglecharts-ruby package itself.

Uninstall libgooglecharts-ruby and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libgooglecharts-ruby

This will remove the libgooglecharts-ruby package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libgooglecharts-ruby then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libgooglecharts-ruby

Or similarly, like this libgooglecharts-ruby

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libgooglecharts-ruby
