How To Uninstall libjlapack-java On Debian 8

To uninstall libjlapack-java just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libjlapack-java

LAPACK numerical subroutines translated from their Fortran 77 sourceDebian 8.0contrib/java0.8~dfsg-1
sudo apt-get remove libjlapack-java

This will remove just the libjlapack-java package itself.

Uninstall libjlapack-java and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libjlapack-java

This will remove the libjlapack-java package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libjlapack-java then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libjlapack-java

Or similarly, like this libjlapack-java

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libjlapack-java
