How To Uninstall matlab-support On Debian 8

To uninstall matlab-support just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just matlab-support

distro integration for local MATLAB installationsDebian 8.0contrib/devel0.0.19+nmu1
sudo apt-get remove matlab-support

This will remove just the matlab-support package itself.

Uninstall matlab-support and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove matlab-support

This will remove the matlab-support package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for matlab-support then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge matlab-support

Or similarly, like this matlab-support

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove matlab-support
