How To Uninstall python3-pycuda On Debian 8

To uninstall python3-pycuda just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just python3-pycuda

Python 3 module to access Nvidia‘s CUDA parallel computation APIDebian 8.0contrib/python2014.1-3
sudo apt-get remove python3-pycuda

This will remove just the python3-pycuda package itself.

Uninstall python3-pycuda and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove python3-pycuda

This will remove the python3-pycuda package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for python3-pycuda then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge python3-pycuda

Or similarly, like this python3-pycuda

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove python3-pycuda
