How To Uninstall 4g8 On Debian 8

To uninstall 4g8 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just 4g8

Packet Capture and Interception for Switched NetworksDebian 8.0net1.0-3
sudo apt-get remove 4g8

This will remove just the 4g8 package itself.

Uninstall 4g8 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove 4g8

This will remove the 4g8 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for 4g8 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge 4g8

Or similarly, like this 4g8

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove 4g8
