How To Uninstall c-icap On Debian 8

To uninstall c-icap just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just c-icap

linuxICAP server implementationnet1:0.3.4-2
sudo apt-get remove c-icap

This will remove just the c-icap package itself.

Uninstall c-icap and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove c-icap

This will remove the c-icap package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for c-icap then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge c-icap

Or similarly, like this c-icap

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove c-icap
