How To Uninstall cacti-spine On Debian 8

To uninstall cacti-spine just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just cacti-spine

linuxMulti-Threading poller for cactiweb0.8.8b-1
sudo apt-get remove cacti-spine

This will remove just the cacti-spine package itself.

Uninstall cacti-spine and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove cacti-spine

This will remove the cacti-spine package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for cacti-spine then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge cacti-spine

Or similarly, like this cacti-spine

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove cacti-spine
