How To Uninstall cacti On Debian 8

To uninstall cacti just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just cacti

sudo apt-get remove cacti

This will remove just the cacti package itself.

Uninstall cacti and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove cacti

This will remove the cacti package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for cacti then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge cacti

Or similarly, like this cacti

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove cacti
