How To Uninstall calamaris On Debian 8

To uninstall calamaris just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just calamaris

log analyzer for Squid or Oops proxy log filesDebian 8.0utils2.99.4.0-19
sudo apt-get remove calamaris

This will remove just the calamaris package itself.

Uninstall calamaris and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove calamaris

This will remove the calamaris package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for calamaris then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge calamaris

Or similarly, like this calamaris

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove calamaris
