How To Uninstall camo On Debian 8

To uninstall camo just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just camo

SSL/TLS image proxy to prevent mixed-content warningsDebian 8.0web1.3.0+dfsg-1
sudo apt-get remove camo

This will remove just the camo package itself.

Uninstall camo and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove camo

This will remove the camo package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for camo then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge camo

Or similarly, like this camo

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove camo
