How To Uninstall cardpeek On Debian 8

To uninstall cardpeek just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just cardpeek

Tool to read the contents of ISO7816 smartcardsDebian 8.0utils0.8.3-1
sudo apt-get remove cardpeek

This will remove just the cardpeek package itself.

Uninstall cardpeek and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove cardpeek

This will remove the cardpeek package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for cardpeek then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge cardpeek

Or similarly, like this cardpeek

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove cardpeek
