How To Uninstall caspar On Debian 8

To uninstall caspar just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just caspar

sudo apt-get remove caspar

This will remove just the caspar package itself.

Uninstall caspar and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove caspar

This will remove the caspar package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for caspar then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge caspar

Or similarly, like this caspar

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove caspar
