How To Uninstall catch On Debian 8

To uninstall catch just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just catch

C++ Automated Test Cases in HeadersDebian 8.0devel1.0+m10git1e2f1d16-1
sudo apt-get remove catch

This will remove just the catch package itself.

Uninstall catch and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove catch

This will remove the catch package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for catch then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge catch

Or similarly, like this catch

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove catch
