How To Uninstall cbootimage On Debian 8

To uninstall cbootimage just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just cbootimage

Tools to dump and generate boot config table on Tegra devicesDebian 8.0utils1.4-1
sudo apt-get remove cbootimage

This will remove just the cbootimage package itself.

Uninstall cbootimage and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove cbootimage

This will remove the cbootimage package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for cbootimage then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge cbootimage

Or similarly, like this cbootimage

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove cbootimage
