How To Uninstall ccal On Debian 8

To uninstall ccal just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ccal

Colorised calendar utilityDebian 8.0utils4.0-3
sudo apt-get remove ccal

This will remove just the ccal package itself.

Uninstall ccal and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ccal

This will remove the ccal package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ccal then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ccal

Or similarly, like this ccal

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ccal
