How To Uninstall cclive On Debian 8

To uninstall cclive just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just cclive

lightweight command line video extraction toolDebian 8.0utils0.7.16-2+b1
sudo apt-get remove cclive

This will remove just the cclive package itself.

Uninstall cclive and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove cclive

This will remove the cclive package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for cclive then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge cclive

Or similarly, like this cclive

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove cclive
