How To Uninstall ccontrol On Debian 8

To uninstall ccontrol just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ccontrol

linuxCompilation controllerdevel1.0-1
sudo apt-get remove ccontrol

This will remove just the ccontrol package itself.

Uninstall ccontrol and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ccontrol

This will remove the ccontrol package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ccontrol then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ccontrol

Or similarly, like this ccontrol

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ccontrol
