How To Uninstall cdbackup On Debian 8

To uninstall cdbackup just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just cdbackup

linuxCD-R(W) backup utilityadmin0.7.0-5
sudo apt-get remove cdbackup

This will remove just the cdbackup package itself.

Uninstall cdbackup and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove cdbackup

This will remove the cdbackup package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for cdbackup then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge cdbackup

Or similarly, like this cdbackup

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove cdbackup
