How To Uninstall cdcover On Debian 8

To uninstall cdcover just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just cdcover

linuxCreating Data-CD Coverstext0.9.1-11
sudo apt-get remove cdcover

This will remove just the cdcover package itself.

Uninstall cdcover and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove cdcover

This will remove the cdcover package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for cdcover then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge cdcover

Or similarly, like this cdcover

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove cdcover
