How To Uninstall cdw On Debian 8

To uninstall cdw just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just cdw

linuxTool for burning CD's - console versionotherosfs0.8.0-1
sudo apt-get remove cdw

This will remove just the cdw package itself.

Uninstall cdw and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove cdw

This will remove the cdw package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for cdw then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge cdw

Or similarly, like this cdw

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove cdw
