How To Uninstall cgmanager On Debian 8

To uninstall cgmanager just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just cgmanager

linuxCentral cgroup manager daemonadmin0.33-2+deb8u2
sudo apt-get remove cgmanager

This will remove just the cgmanager package itself.

Uninstall cgmanager and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove cgmanager

This will remove the cgmanager package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for cgmanager then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge cgmanager

Or similarly, like this cgmanager

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove cgmanager
