How To Uninstall check-postgres On Debian 8

To uninstall check-postgres just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just check-postgres

script for monitoring PostgreSQL databasesDebian 8.0database2.21.0-3
sudo apt-get remove check-postgres

This will remove just the check-postgres package itself.

Uninstall check-postgres and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove check-postgres

This will remove the check-postgres package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for check-postgres then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge check-postgres

Or similarly, like this check-postgres

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove check-postgres
