How To Uninstall choreonoid-dbg On Debian 8

To uninstall choreonoid-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just choreonoid-dbg

Choreonoid debugging symbolsDebian 8.0debug1.1.0+dfsg-6.1+b4
sudo apt-get remove choreonoid-dbg

This will remove just the choreonoid-dbg package itself.

Uninstall choreonoid-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove choreonoid-dbg

This will remove the choreonoid-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for choreonoid-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge choreonoid-dbg

Or similarly, like this choreonoid-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove choreonoid-dbg
