How To Uninstall chromedriver On Debian 8

To uninstall chromedriver just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just chromedriver

web browser - WebDriver supportDebian 8.0web57.0.2987.98-1~deb8u1
sudo apt-get remove chromedriver

This will remove just the chromedriver package itself.

Uninstall chromedriver and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove chromedriver

This will remove the chromedriver package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for chromedriver then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge chromedriver

Or similarly, like this chromedriver

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove chromedriver
