How To Uninstall chromium-dbg On Debian 8

To uninstall chromium-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just chromium-dbg

linuxweb browser - debugging symbolsdebug57.0.2987.98-1~deb8u1
sudo apt-get remove chromium-dbg

This will remove just the chromium-dbg package itself.

Uninstall chromium-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove chromium-dbg

This will remove the chromium-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for chromium-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge chromium-dbg

Or similarly, like this chromium-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove chromium-dbg
