How To Uninstall chrootuid On Debian 8

To uninstall chrootuid just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just chrootuid

Run commands in restricted environmentsDebian 8.0admin1.3-6
sudo apt-get remove chrootuid

This will remove just the chrootuid package itself.

Uninstall chrootuid and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove chrootuid

This will remove the chrootuid package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for chrootuid then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge chrootuid

Or similarly, like this chrootuid

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove chrootuid
