How To Uninstall ciderwebmail On Debian 8

To uninstall ciderwebmail just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ciderwebmail

IMAP webmail serviceDebian 8.0web1.05-5
sudo apt-get remove ciderwebmail

This will remove just the ciderwebmail package itself.

Uninstall ciderwebmail and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ciderwebmail

This will remove the ciderwebmail package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ciderwebmail then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ciderwebmail

Or similarly, like this ciderwebmail

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ciderwebmail
