How To Uninstall cipux-object-tools On Debian 8

To uninstall cipux-object-tools just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just cipux-object-tools

linuxCommandline object-related tools for CipUXperl3.4.0.5-2
sudo apt-get remove cipux-object-tools

This will remove just the cipux-object-tools package itself.

Uninstall cipux-object-tools and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove cipux-object-tools

This will remove the cipux-object-tools package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for cipux-object-tools then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge cipux-object-tools

Or similarly, like this cipux-object-tools

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove cipux-object-tools
