How To Uninstall cipux-task-tools On Debian 8

To uninstall cipux-task-tools just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just cipux-task-tools

linuxcommandline task interface for CipUXperl3.4.0.7-4
sudo apt-get remove cipux-task-tools

This will remove just the cipux-task-tools package itself.

Uninstall cipux-task-tools and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove cipux-task-tools

This will remove the cipux-task-tools package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for cipux-task-tools then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge cipux-task-tools

Or similarly, like this cipux-task-tools

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove cipux-task-tools
