How To Uninstall citadel-client On Debian 8

To uninstall citadel-client just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just citadel-client

complete and feature-rich groupware server (command line client)Debian 8.0mail8.24-1
sudo apt-get remove citadel-client

This will remove just the citadel-client package itself.

Uninstall citadel-client and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove citadel-client

This will remove the citadel-client package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for citadel-client then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge citadel-client

Or similarly, like this citadel-client

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove citadel-client
