How To Uninstall ckport-database On Debian 8

To uninstall ckport-database just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ckport-database

portability analysis and security checking tool (Database files)Debian 8.0devel0.1~rc1-4
sudo apt-get remove ckport-database

This will remove just the ckport-database package itself.

Uninstall ckport-database and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ckport-database

This will remove the ckport-database package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ckport-database then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ckport-database

Or similarly, like this ckport-database

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ckport-database
