How To Uninstall cl-alexandria On Debian 8

To uninstall cl-alexandria just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just cl-alexandria

Collection of portable Common Lisp utilitiesDebian 8.0lisp20140826-1
sudo apt-get remove cl-alexandria

This will remove just the cl-alexandria package itself.

Uninstall cl-alexandria and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove cl-alexandria

This will remove the cl-alexandria package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for cl-alexandria then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge cl-alexandria

Or similarly, like this cl-alexandria

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove cl-alexandria
