How To Uninstall cl-asdf On Debian 8

To uninstall cl-asdf just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just cl-asdf

Another System Definition FacilityDebian 8.0lisp2:3.1.4-1
sudo apt-get remove cl-asdf

This will remove just the cl-asdf package itself.

Uninstall cl-asdf and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove cl-asdf

This will remove the cl-asdf package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for cl-asdf then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge cl-asdf

Or similarly, like this cl-asdf

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove cl-asdf
