How To Uninstall cl-babel On Debian 8

To uninstall cl-babel just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just cl-babel

linuxA charset encoding/decoding library, not unlike GNU libiconvlisp0.3.0+20091229-1
sudo apt-get remove cl-babel

This will remove just the cl-babel package itself.

Uninstall cl-babel and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove cl-babel

This will remove the cl-babel package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for cl-babel then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge cl-babel

Or similarly, like this cl-babel

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove cl-babel
