How To Uninstall cl-cffi On Debian 8

To uninstall cl-cffi just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just cl-cffi

The Common Foreign Function Interface for Common LispDebian 8.0lisp1:0.14.0-1
sudo apt-get remove cl-cffi

This will remove just the cl-cffi package itself.

Uninstall cl-cffi and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove cl-cffi

This will remove the cl-cffi package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for cl-cffi then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge cl-cffi

Or similarly, like this cl-cffi

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove cl-cffi
