How To Uninstall cl-chipz On Debian 8

To uninstall cl-chipz just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just cl-chipz

linuxlibrary for decompressing DEFLATE and BZIP2 datalisp20130128-1
sudo apt-get remove cl-chipz

This will remove just the cl-chipz package itself.

Uninstall cl-chipz and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove cl-chipz

This will remove the cl-chipz package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for cl-chipz then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge cl-chipz

Or similarly, like this cl-chipz

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove cl-chipz
