How To Uninstall cl-fad On Debian 8

To uninstall cl-fad just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just cl-fad

portable pathname library for Common LispDebian 8.0lisp0.7.2-1
sudo apt-get remove cl-fad

This will remove just the cl-fad package itself.

Uninstall cl-fad and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove cl-fad

This will remove the cl-fad package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for cl-fad then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge cl-fad

Or similarly, like this cl-fad

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove cl-fad
