How To Uninstall cl-ixf On Debian 8

To uninstall cl-ixf just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just cl-ixf

Common Lisp library to parse IBM IXF file format.Debian 8.0lisp20140826-1
sudo apt-get remove cl-ixf

This will remove just the cl-ixf package itself.

Uninstall cl-ixf and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove cl-ixf

This will remove the cl-ixf package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for cl-ixf then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge cl-ixf

Or similarly, like this cl-ixf

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove cl-ixf
