How To Uninstall cl-md5 On Debian 8

To uninstall cl-md5 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just cl-md5

Common Lisp package for MD5 Message DigestsDebian 8.0lisp1:20130312-1
sudo apt-get remove cl-md5

This will remove just the cl-md5 package itself.

Uninstall cl-md5 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove cl-md5

This will remove the cl-md5 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for cl-md5 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge cl-md5

Or similarly, like this cl-md5

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove cl-md5
