How To Uninstall cl-parse-number On Debian 8

To uninstall cl-parse-number just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just cl-parse-number

linuxparse a string into one of the standard Common Lisp number typeslisp1.4-1
sudo apt-get remove cl-parse-number

This will remove just the cl-parse-number package itself.

Uninstall cl-parse-number and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove cl-parse-number

This will remove the cl-parse-number package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for cl-parse-number then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge cl-parse-number

Or similarly, like this cl-parse-number

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove cl-parse-number
