How To Uninstall cl-plus-ssl On Debian 8

To uninstall cl-plus-ssl just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just cl-plus-ssl

linuxCommon Lisp interface to OpenSSLlisp20140826-1
sudo apt-get remove cl-plus-ssl

This will remove just the cl-plus-ssl package itself.

Uninstall cl-plus-ssl and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove cl-plus-ssl

This will remove the cl-plus-ssl package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for cl-plus-ssl then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge cl-plus-ssl

Or similarly, like this cl-plus-ssl

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove cl-plus-ssl
