How To Uninstall cl-postgres On Debian 8

To uninstall cl-postgres just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just cl-postgres

linuxLow-level client library for PosgreSQLlisp20141006-1
sudo apt-get remove cl-postgres

This will remove just the cl-postgres package itself.

Uninstall cl-postgres and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove cl-postgres

This will remove the cl-postgres package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for cl-postgres then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge cl-postgres

Or similarly, like this cl-postgres

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove cl-postgres
