How To Uninstall cl-postoffice On Debian 8

To uninstall cl-postoffice just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just cl-postoffice

linuxSMTP, POP, & IMAP interface library for Common Lisp Programslisp1.8.2.3-4
sudo apt-get remove cl-postoffice

This will remove just the cl-postoffice package itself.

Uninstall cl-postoffice and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove cl-postoffice

This will remove the cl-postoffice package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for cl-postoffice then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge cl-postoffice

Or similarly, like this cl-postoffice

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove cl-postoffice
