How To Uninstall cl-unicode On Debian 8

To uninstall cl-unicode just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just cl-unicode

linuxportable Unicode library for Common Lisplisp0.1.4-3
sudo apt-get remove cl-unicode

This will remove just the cl-unicode package itself.

Uninstall cl-unicode and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove cl-unicode

This will remove the cl-unicode package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for cl-unicode then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge cl-unicode

Or similarly, like this cl-unicode

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove cl-unicode
