How To Uninstall cl-yason On Debian 8

To uninstall cl-yason just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just cl-yason

JSON encoder/decoder for Common LispDebian 8.0lisp0.6.7-1
sudo apt-get remove cl-yason

This will remove just the cl-yason package itself.

Uninstall cl-yason and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove cl-yason

This will remove the cl-yason package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for cl-yason then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge cl-yason

Or similarly, like this cl-yason

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove cl-yason
