How To Uninstall clamfs On Debian 8

To uninstall clamfs just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just clamfs

user-space anti-virus protected file systemDebian 8.0utils1.0.1-1.1+b2
sudo apt-get remove clamfs

This will remove just the clamfs package itself.

Uninstall clamfs and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove clamfs

This will remove the clamfs package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for clamfs then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge clamfs

Or similarly, like this clamfs

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove clamfs
