How To Uninstall clc-intercal On Debian 8

To uninstall clc-intercal just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just clc-intercal

Compiler for the INTERCAL languageDebian 8.0devel1:1.0~4pre1.-94.-2-4
sudo apt-get remove clc-intercal

This will remove just the clc-intercal package itself.

Uninstall clc-intercal and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove clc-intercal

This will remove the clc-intercal package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for clc-intercal then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge clc-intercal

Or similarly, like this clc-intercal

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove clc-intercal
