How To Uninstall clementine On Debian 8

To uninstall clementine just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just clementine

modern music player and library organizerDebian 8.0sound1.2.3+dfsg-2+b1
sudo apt-get remove clementine

This will remove just the clementine package itself.

Uninstall clementine and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove clementine

This will remove the clementine package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for clementine then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge clementine

Or similarly, like this clementine

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove clementine
